 TOURISM in CORATOThe history of Corato is similar to that one of the other commons in the Murgia: the Normans, the Swabians, the Angevins, the Aragoneses. But from 1512 on, its history changes and are the inhabitants to redeem the feud from Lucrezia Borgia, wife of Alfonso of Aragon. To the end of the 1700's, the city character of Corato marks itself definitively with the creation of the 'Stradone', the paved street that he covers this geometric city.
