Our Bed & Breakfast La Vecchia Quercia at Pedara di Catania will welcome you with all its conforts, in the typical tastes of the home kitchen, the beauty of the landscape and the perfumes of the green Etna National Park.
Pedara by Catania is a charming village set in the green calm hills, halfway from the sea and the volcano's mountain.
Our first aim is guests satisfaction as primary prerogative and at B&B La Vecchia Quercia courtesy, kindness and welcome are the fundamental elements of our activity.
Furthermore, friendship and cordiality are the most beautiful inheritances left from the various cultures succeeded on our splendid Sicily island.
Our 7 rooms are furnished with care of all details, have spacious bathrooms and are equipped with television set and air-conditioning.
Our villas can easily accommodate up to twenty beds, ideal for families, small parties, sporting groups, etc.
We feature two dining-rooms in a rustic style with rocks of Morocco, lava stone and a fireplace for the morning breakfast and to taste our typical Sicilian and Calabrian dishes according to our "Dai Garibaldi" Cultural Association.
Satellite television programs cheers the evenings of our guests as well as Karaoke for your songs.
A large garden, an ample terrace with gazebo endowed with stone oven and barbecue plus our beautiful swimming pool with solarium are at your disposal for pleasant beautiful sunny days.
An ample car parking, shaded by a secular oak, is available.
Besides it is possible to orgnize long excursions for horse-riding, trekking, walk to search of the savory Etna mushrooms.

Raiway station in Catania Centrale and bus links Ast lines to Pedara, stop at Tarderia (fontane do parrinu).
- by plane:
International Airporto of Catania Fontanarossa, proceed along the ring-road Ovest to the exit od Gravina di Catania and then follow signs to Etna sud.
